Remembering to praise

I thought I would give an update from my challenging aspects of my job, I had an incredible breakthrough! All the obstacles were swept away, and the term has been a success! Not only did I connect with the student, but the hard work has started to pay off. But before I celebrated, I remembered one important thing to give God the credit.

The apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthians about ensuring God should have the glory, not one particular person. It was often important in the Greek world to advertise their speakers, as they were paid handsomely to say what people wanted to hear. In the church, some aligned with either Apollos or Paul to name a few.

Paul made it clear in 1st Corinthians 3 that neither he or Apollos was special, but it is God that makes all things grow (1 Cor 3:6). We all play a part just like the believers of the past. No matter what we do, we praise God in our actions, words, songs, whatever way we express our gratitude the best.

I am not sure what next term would bring, but I know that God will be with me. No matter the season, and situation, we all need to remember to praise Him, for it is because of Jesus' great sacrifice, we have the relationship with God right now. As I rest, I feel that peace that living under His wings, that makes everything worth it!
